A photography contest sponsored by the BCC Asian Heritage Committee with Gallery Bergen.
Photographs treating the themes of living and dealing with life under COVID and/or experiences of racism against Asians/Asian Americans.
This competition/exhibition is open to all BCC students (undergraduate and Institute for Learning in Retirement) currently enrolled or actively engaged/planning to return. Photographs will be shown that treat the themes of living and dealing with life under COVID and/or experiences of racism against Asian Americans.
One 1st place: $300
Two 2nd place winners: $200
Three 3rd place winners: $100
Submissions deadline: April 2nd, 2021
Judging will take place during the week of April 5th. You may submit multiple works. Be sure to upload each file with the required information for labeling each work as set out below. You may also include a brief statement about your work to be included. Please be brief and appropriate in language. (We reserve the right to edit these statements may be edited for length and grammar.)
An awards ceremony will take place on Tuesday, April 20th, 12:30 pm (WebEx)
